Avascular necrosis

Avascular necrosis – A disease in which a temporary or permanent
loss of the blood supply to the bones causes the
bone tissue to die and the bone to collapse. This condition
is also known as osteonecrosis, aseptic necrosis, and
ischemic necrosis.
